Version 1.3: Facebook Shop

Social Commerce:  Social commerce is booming like never before, and many people are ready to buy products from social media channels like Facebook.  These channels are also great places where, with proper promotion, you can keep your customers engaged.  Display your product & service offerings, and get reviews about your products. We had received several requests from our customers, so we incorporated social commerce or Facebook in our latest version. Here, the store admin would be controlling the facebook shop products. Not only that, we have also added options for social plugins like “tweet” , “facebook like”, G+ , and Linkedin share button for product details page.

Bulk Products Upload/Edit: Adding products can be a definite time-killer. We recognize that, and want to make your job easier.  We have tried to bring in some tools that would drastically cut down the time spent by you on adding products to the store. We have brought in a feature called Bulk edit / adding products using excel (.xls file) from the backend where you can also add the product attributes.  Simply list your products in excel, and upload the file.  It’s that easy.

Payu Payment Gateway: With the booming ecommerce market in India, the numbers of payment gateway providers in India are also increasing significantly. In this version we have added a new payment gateway provider called PayU India. From now on, any PayU customer would be able to accept payment through net banking or credit/debit card by just using our inbuilt integration. Store owners just have to put in their merchant id and secret key in the interface, and they will be automatically redirected to the PayU control panel.

Attributes Manager: Managing attributes is yet another tough task for ecommerce. Attributes need to be very proper.  Otherwise, it confuses customers or affects COD dispatch time. After getting lots of feedback on this issue, we simplified the product attributes option. From now on, set attributes from the backend as a base price.  Likewise, set whether it’s even needed for your product or not.

One Page Checkout: Customers abandon a lengthy checkout process when it’s too complicated. What a tragedy.  All your marketing efforts become useless in the blink of an eye. After carrying out a survey and gathering enough feedback, we have cut back redundant steps for checkout. Thus, the new one-page checkout reduces shopping cart abandonment and increases the number of visitors who buy from the website.

Banner & Logo manager: From now on, store owners can add multiple banners from their store.  They can also add different banners in different pages and upload their own logo.  Enhance your brand by taking advantage of greater banner and logo placement.

Apart from all these improvements, we have introduced some other enhancements in this version. From now on, the COD feature enables only after the order value reaches a certain preset level. Also there would be low order fees, shipping & handling charges and review notification to admin owner.
